Scores of cats live under poor circumstances in this urban park, which is the location of this story. They don't have their own comfortable homes. But thanks to the feeders who help support their lives, they can survive. Sometimes these cats have friendly contact with people around them similar to house cats, but mostly they move unencumbered around the spacious park like wild animals. Among these homeless cats is a large male named Hachi. This book focused on Hachi but also describes a female cat, Chako, and another male cat, Futa. Observing their daily lives, I've woven a photo story about them.
